Pacific Empire College trains and certifies medical assistants, care coordinators, and other office staff as Community Health Workers, enabling your clinic to bill Medi-Cal for services otherwise absorbed as overhead.
Medi-Cal now allows reimbursement for many patient-facing support activities when the staff delivering them are certified as Community Health Workers.

In turn, certifying your staff as CHWs allows your clinical team to deliver more tailored, effective care, while at the same time, strengthening your employees professionally and making a portion of their time eligible for reimbursement from Medi-Cal.
